McCain Would Do Well To Select Governor Sarah Palin as No. 2

The private registrar causes one to speculate, hmmm. This is my number one choice over Governor Tim Pawlenty and Mittens Romney (ok I admit my FredHead side dies hard - sorry Gov. Romney), but I did not realize she was a top three pick. I also like Rep. Marsha Blackburn, but don't think she is still in the running.

Sarah Palin adds a lot. She is a strong female political leader from the Great Northwest. With FL, OH and MO, seemingly falling in line, Senator McCain needs help geographically in two areas the West and the Rust Belt.

Palin helps McCain in WA, OR, CO and NV and by virtue of being a bright female - soccer/security mom vote. If she can get to be well-known enough in time, she could really make a difference.

Pawlenty helps McCain in MN, WI, MI and maybe OH, but Sen. McCain couldn't win MN in the primary with Gov. Pawlenty chairing his campaign. So - I say not to Pawlenty. McCainPawlenty.com is cartoony and I bet totally held by a CyberSquatter.

Romney helps McCain in MI and NV only. Romney's father and family legacy help McCain in MI, not sure it is enough though to win MI, but it might just be. Romney's Church helps solidify NV in the McCain win column and could make NM alot closer (today we lose NM by 8-10 points) and the Church could possibly help McCain a little bit in CO. Romney's staff, however, denied he had been offered the job and McCainRomney.com is blank, no site.

So...this could be the ticket! McCain-Palin.

Brief Bio of Governor Palin (R-Alaska)
She was a point guard in high school for her state champion basketball team
She is a former beauty queen
She is a lifetime member of the NRA
She is quite young (44) and vibrant Governor
She has championed ethics in government
She is a mother of five; three daughters, two sons; eldest son just joined the U.S. Army

Any thoughts? Looks pretty good to me.

Obama/Biden leaves a hole wide nuff for a Mack Truck but only with Sarah Palin as the driver!

Despite the Dems and the allied main stream media's desperation to see Romney as McCain's Veep, Mitt is clearly out, with (1) Obama doubling down on the class warfare theme (McCain's 7 houses) and (2) McCain doubling down with ads showing the hypocrisy of Biden attacking Obama in the pimaries -- Romney did way more than that contra McCain.

This leaves only Govs Sarah Palin and Tim Pawlenty. Pro-abortion Ridge and Dem-Lieberman were never real considerations, despite relentless media goading. Pawlenty's lackluster TV performances, coupled with Palin pizzazz, the primacy of oil drilling and the ticked off women/Hillary voters, does now portend a McCain/Palin checkmate on the Dems. This is so albeit the Dems and liberal media dare not mention Palin's name, that is, everyone but.....

And if there's any question as to Palin being uniquely qualified to more than nullify Biden in debate, see the excellent discussion at palinforvp.blogspot.com

Team McCain, well done!!!
